Running with Purpose
We had an amazing young lady run the Woodlands Marathon 5k, choosing Journey Home as her charity partner. 8th grader, Aria raised over $700 for Journey Home! What an amazing goal she accomplished. May we have more teens like Aria who have big ambitions and run after them! Well done, Aria! Thank you from everyone at Journey Home!

Current News Within the Home
The home currently includes three moms, three infants and one toddler living and thriving within our program. These amazing mothers have established major changes in their lives. They are dedicated mothers, learning to budget, meal plan, and cook, achieving time management skills, continuing education, devoting time to studying God’s word, keeping up with health appointments for themselves and their children, and working towards being financially independent! Recently one of our moms was gifted a car from local non-profit, God’s Garage! This group of moms is amazing and watching how our Lord is moving through Journey Home to glorify Him through these changes is uplifting and humbling.

Job Opportunities Needed
Do you have an employment opportunity for one of our moms? We are supporting our mothers as they search for positions, but this has been a challenge recently. We know our network of support (you) may have a company or friend who is hiring. Please reach out to us if you know of a position for a single mom who has childcare during business hours Monday–Friday. Each of our moms have different circumstances and hurdles they’re overcoming as they make changes to become fully financially independent to support their families. Let’s work together to assist them in achieving these goals.

Our church partners are invaluable companions in the work we do as an organization. If we do not already have a relationship with your church, please reach out so we can connect. Working side by side to be the hands and feet of Jesus to these women and their children will create a bigger impact on them and the community. What a blessing to do Kingdom work as the body of Christ.

June Bingo Nights
Bring your family and friends out to Deacon Baldy’s every Tuesday evening in June to support Journey Home! Proceeds from the bingo cards will support the home as well as some other opportunities onsite at the event. Come have fun with us! June 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 at 7pm.
