Outdoor Projects Update

We are incredibly grateful for all the hands (and strong backs!) who have given sacrificially of themselves to make changes and upgrades to the exterior of the home this year. The backyard underwent a huge sidewalk project design and re-design as we saw our needs change. We also now have a wonderful firepit made to fellowship for many years to come! And even our playground received a re-fresh so our little guests can play safely. We cannot thank everyone enough for their contributions to this hard work. These projects show us, yet again, that we truly have the BEST volunteers who honor God with their talents and resources.

Guest Update & How You Can Help

Current

As of today, we have three moms, two infants and one toddler living at Journey Home. We have one more baby ready to make his arrival at the end of December or beginning of January. All three moms are working hard at this new chapter in their lives. Seeing the strides they are making on their goals is energizing and encouraging. It is a blessing to walk alongside them in their journey.

Year-End Giving

We seek your continual prayers! It is very evident this ministry is honoring the Lord. We are seeing firsthand His goodness and faithfulness. These women and their families are experiencing His abundant love through the home, volunteers, staff, and your giving!

Please pray the Lord will continue to provide for us as He has in years past. The property and home have needed several significant repairs due to aging infrastructure this year. These large repairs coupled with rising costs of operation have us continually calling out to our gracious Lord so He will make a way for us to meet the financial needs of this ministry. Prayer

We thank you for every prayer for Journey Home. When you pray, we ask that you ask on our behalf for gospel opportunities guided by the Spirit of God. Also, continue praying for our moms as they continue to navigate life with us. Join in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor granted to us through the prayers of many. 2 Cor 1:11

Currently

As of today, we have four moms and one toddler living at Journey Home. Each one of them are working hard at this new chapter in their lives. It is a blessing to walk alongside them in their journey. We are anticipating the arrival of the Journey Home babies with due dates in October, November, December, and January!

Volunteers Men & Women

We are in need of female volunteers who can give their time Wednesday-Friday between 8 am and 5 pm. If you have 2-4 hours a week that you can provide to us, that will be much appreciated. We also need an immediate need for volunteers to drive our moms to and from appointments of all kinds i.e., prenatal doctor appointments, WIC office, grocery shopping, counseling, and etc. We also always need volunteers who are able to assist with everyday chores, weeding the garden and flowerbeds, and home maintenance.

A Robust Start to 2025

Workday at the Home

Three groups came together to improve our home by installing a new sidewalk path, refreshing to the playground, clearing out the garden beds, and organizing two garage storage spaces! Restoration Church, First Baptist Conroe, Trail Life Troop #1914 at West Conroe Baptist, you were the hands and feet of Jesus and we’re so grateful for your labor of love!
